The Four Pillars Yo' Biz Needs in Place

There are 1000 roads to China.

There are dozens of ways to get people to say yes.

But the fastest, most effective way to get prospects to take action on your call-to-action is...

The Four Pillar Approach to Success: Showing your authority, having charisma, making connections, and creating solid offers.

Authority.

Authority is your ability to illustrate that you know and understand your topic matter, as well as your ability to get results.

Show off your authority through:

  1. Expertly crafted written content

  2. Expertly answered questions in groups

  3. Expertly crafted emails

  4. Expertly crafted video content

And a website, sales pages, and landing pages that are written with confidence, clarity, and conciseness and the components that separate writing from copywriting.

Charisma.

Charisma, flair, that je ne sais quoi that people are drawn to.

And it can be developed.

If you don’t already have that oomph that the people you admire online have, you can steal theirs if you take an article of clothing or a lock of hair and plunge them into a vat of newt brains at midnight on the second full moon of February.

JK - you can’t do that. You’ll never catch enough newts to make an entire vat.

I digress….

You can totally create your OWN charisma.

Step 1: Develop such a deep familiarity with your content and your ideal client that you know them both better than you know yourself.

Step 2: Lose the fear that people are going to think you, your idea, your clothes, your camera skills, or your set suck.
Step 3: Develop your “thing” that makes you do - if you are funny, use it...if you’re a geek, own it...if you’re a music enthusiast, let the music help you form bonds with your audience

So, knowledge + lack of fear + yo’ thang = charisma.

Connection.

Relationships with people are a necessary part of business. The better the quality of the relationships, the higher the profits in your business (assuming, you know, that you know yo’ shit).

And, of course, that means you want to meet as many people as possible...but do it in a non-douchey way that grows beyond, “Yo, sup?? Wanna join my group or get on my list?”

How to grow your connections:

  1. Comment on people’s shit with well-thought-out comments - not just emojis or a “fuck yeah”

  2. Ask the connectors you know if there are other peeps you should know and reach out to them

  3. Reach out to your clients and ask who some really cool peeps are that you may not already know

  4. Make an effort to reach out periodically, even if it’s just to say hi

  5. Be genuine (fuck any idea you have to spam somebody with your links)

  6. Ask how you can help - with sincerity

Note: If you’re shy...put it in the backseat (says, she who would rather be a hermit than talk to humans...but if I can do it...so can you),

Offer.

You can have authority.

You can have charisma.

You can have connections….

But the wrong offer? Can sink your business.

How to craft an offer they will love:

  1. What are you best at
    What’s selling already

  2. What does your ICA have a history of buying into

  3. What’s unique about YOUR approach/results

  4. Clarity over creativity with you offer copy
