September's Fall

And here's a little #FridayFlash for the flashers out there.  Next week will be more refined...I promise!  Enjoy:) Her heart pounded with his breath in her ear. Being so close to him freed her and strengthened her. She needed him and he needed her.

With Steve by her side, Maria never again would return to her old life of baggage and boredom.

The sun rose and set on their faces, side by side every day. She didn’t know how to breathe without him. He was the blood that coursed through her veins. And she was his.

Until September.

Then, taunted and teased by a red-haired harlot, Steve fell prey to his manhood. What would happen when Maria found out?

September showed herself.

Anger and pain crippled Maria. With the burning in her soul, she pulled the heavy metal from the nightstand drawer and taught September who was in charge with the motion of one tiny little digit.

No one disrespected Maria that way…not even Steve.

September’s life was not enough to pay what was owed her. Maria lay Steve to rest beside her and never looked back.

No more did his scent fill her nostrils. No more did his body fill her arms. Now only ice coursed through her veins.

Until August came.

Thanks for stopping by to read.  What do you think Maria should have done??  What will happen with August?  Leave me a note in the comments and let me know:)  Have a beautiful weekend!
